Please read these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) carefully. They govern your access to and use of the RabbitQuant website, dashboard, analytics features, account connection workflows and related services (together, the “Service”). In these Terms, “RabbitQuant”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Service. “You” means the individual or organization using the Service.
By creating an account, accepting these Terms or otherwise using the Service, you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and account registration
You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and be permitted to use the Service under applicable law. You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited.
You must provide accurate registration information, protect your RabbitQuant login and tell us promptly at support@rabbitquant.io if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account, except to the extent it is caused by our failure to meet our legal obligations.
2. What RabbitQuant provides
RabbitQuant is software for importing, organizing, visualizing and analyzing the activity of a MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 trading account and the performance of the trading strategies or Expert Advisors (“EAs”) that run on it. Depending on the features available to you, the Service may show historical trades, balances, performance measures, results per strategy, charts and exports.
The Service connects to your broker’s trading server to retrieve account data, first when you connect the account and then automatically on a recurring basis. Features, supported brokers, synchronization timing and available metrics may vary or change.
RabbitQuant is an analytics tool. It does not place, modify or close trades, manage funds, hold assets or control your trading account. Features that are planned but not available yet are listed on our roadmap. If we launch them, we may present additional disclosures or terms at that time. These Terms do not imply that those features are available today.
3. Trading account connections and authorization
During early access you can connect one trading account. To connect it, you provide the broker’s server, the account login and the account’s investor password. The investor password gives view only access: it can read trades but cannot place or close them. We never ask for your master password, and you must not give it to us.
You confirm that you own the account you connect, or that you are authorized to access it and to share its data with us for the purposes described in these Terms.
You authorize RabbitQuant, and the technical providers acting on our behalf, to use these connection details to sign in to the broker’s server, retrieve the account information available with the investor password and synchronize it on a recurring basis, as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy. Check that your broker’s terms allow this kind of access.
You can ask us to disconnect your account at any time by contacting us. Disconnecting RabbitQuant does not change your credentials at the broker. To revoke our access completely, change your investor password with your broker.
4. Third party brokers, platforms and tools
RabbitQuant is an independent service. It is not your broker, dealer, exchange, custodian or payment processor. Unless we expressly say otherwise, RabbitQuant is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MetaQuotes or any broker. MetaTrader is a trademark of its owner.
Third party services are governed by their own terms, permissions, availability, data quality and security practices. You are responsible for your relationship with your broker and for confirming that your use of the Service is permitted by the third parties involved. Changes to broker systems, authentication methods, rate limits or platform policies may interrupt or prevent synchronization.
5. Data accuracy and analytics limitations
The Service depends on data from you and from third parties. We do not promise that account records or calculated metrics are complete, always current, free of errors or identical to your broker’s official statements. Synchronization may be delayed or fail, may import only the history the broker makes available, or may require you to reconnect.
Attributing trades to strategies and calculating performance can involve assumptions about how platform fields are used, including magic numbers, trade comments, manual closures, hedging or netting modes, commissions, swaps, currency conversion, deposits, withdrawals and changes in how a broker reports data.
Metrics are for your own analysis and may be revised when late, corrected or additional data arrives. Check important figures against your broker’s official records before making financial, operational or tax decisions.
6. No investment advice; trading risks
The Service is a general purpose software and analytics tool. It does not provide personalized investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and it does not recommend that you buy, sell or hold any instrument or run any particular trading strategy.
Trading foreign exchange, derivatives, securities, digital assets and other financial instruments involves substantial risk, including the loss of all your capital and, in some cases, losses beyond it. Past or simulated performance does not guarantee future results. You alone make, and are responsible for, your trading and risk management decisions.
7. Early access, usage limits and future pricing
During early access, each registered user can connect one trading account, with unlimited strategies and unlimited history, where that history is available from the broker and imported successfully. Technical safeguards, resource limits, the acceptable use rules below and third party constraints still apply.
RabbitQuant is free during early access, unless a charge is clearly disclosed to you during signup or in a separate purchase flow. Free early access is not a promise of permanent free access, or of unlimited storage, computing capacity, import speed or availability.
Pricing may change after early access. We may introduce paid plans, account limits or optional paid features. We will give existing users advance notice of these changes and of the prices that apply, and we will never charge you without your explicit authorization. Any paid offer will state its billing frequency, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before you buy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- access accounts, servers, trading records or other systems without authorization, provide credentials you have no right to use, or break applicable law or the contractual rights of third parties;
- interfere with or compromise the Service, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, introduce malicious code, evade rate limits or use abusive automation that degrades the Service for others;
- reverse engineer the parts of the Service that are not open source, except where the law does not allow this restriction, circumvent access controls, or resell or sublicense the Service without our consent;
- present analytics as verified investment returns, or use the Service for fraud, manipulation, misleading promotions or unlawful financial activity.
9. Your data and our limited license
As between you and RabbitQuant, you keep any rights you have in the account records, information, configuration and other content you lawfully provide or make available through the Service (“Your Data”). You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide and limited license to host, access, process, copy, transform and display Your Data only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, protect, troubleshoot and improve the Service, and as otherwise authorized by you or described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the rights and authorizations needed to provide Your Data. Keep your own copies of important broker records. Exports may not include every piece of source or calculated data.
We may use aggregated or anonymized operational statistics for capacity planning, reliability and product improvement, in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. We will not publicly identify your account, your strategies or your nonpublic trading performance without your permission, unless the law requires it.
10. Intellectual property and feedback
RabbitQuant and its licensors own the Service, including its software, interface, design, documentation, trademarks and other protected materials, excluding Your Data and third party materials. As long as you comply with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, nonexclusive and nontransferable right to use the Service for its intended purposes.
If you send us ideas or product feedback, you allow us to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. You keep ownership of any separate material that is yours. Open source components are governed by their own licenses.
11. Privacy, credentials and security
How we handle personal information and connected account data is described in our Privacy Policy.
We aim to use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no internet service or authentication system can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password for RabbitQuant and enable any additional sign in protection we offer.
If you believe your credentials have been exposed, change them with your broker and contact us at support@rabbitquant.io. Never send passwords to us by email.
12. Availability, maintenance and changes
We may maintain, modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, compliance, maintenance or business reasons. We will try to give advance notice of material changes when practical, but urgent incidents may require immediate action.
There is no guaranteed synchronization interval, service level, backup frequency or retention period unless we agree to one with you in writing. You are responsible for keeping independent backups of records that are essential to your business or financial reporting.
13. Early access and beta features
The Service is in early access. Features labeled alpha, beta, preview or early access may be incomplete or unstable and may be changed or withdrawn. Data models and metrics may change, and you may experience bugs, interruptions or data corrections.
Do not rely on the Service as your only financial record keeping or monitoring system. Nothing in this section limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by contacting support@rabbitquant.io. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent fraud, misuse, security threats, legal violations, harm to other users or serious breaches of these Terms. Where appropriate and lawful, we will give you notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
After termination, access to the Service and synchronization of your connected account stop. Your Data is deleted or retained as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law and reasonable backup cycles. Export the information you need before closing your account.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and dispute provisions, survive to the extent permitted by law.
15. Warranty disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NONINFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OR UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. WE DO NOT WARRANT ANY TRADING RESULT, RETURN OR SUCCESSFUL BROKER CONNECTION.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies or legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer protection or other applicable law.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RABBITQUANT AND ITS AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST TRADING OPPORTUNITIES, LOSS OF GOODWILL OR LOSS OF DATA ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) 100 US DOLLARS.
These limits do not apply where the law prohibits them, including to liability that cannot legally be limited.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, if you use the Service for a business or organization, you agree to defend and indemnify RabbitQuant against third party claims, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your infringement of another party’s rights or your knowing use of trading account credentials you were not authorized to provide, except to the extent the claim was caused by RabbitQuant’s own conduct or failure to comply with applicable law.
This section does not impose obligations that consumer protection law prohibits.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. For material revisions, we will give reasonable advance notice by email, in the product or by other appropriate means, and we will update the date at the top of this page. Changes urgently required by law or for security may take effect sooner, with notice when feasible.
If applicable law requires your renewed consent, we will ask for it. If you do not agree to a material revision, stop using the Service and close your account before the new Terms take effect.
19. Disputes
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at support@rabbitquant.io. You and RabbitQuant agree to try in good faith to resolve it informally and to allow 30 days for a response before starting legal proceedings, unless a shorter period is required by law or urgent relief is necessary.
Any dispute that is not resolved informally may be brought before the competent courts under applicable law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence or your right to bring a claim in its courts.
20. General terms
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect to the extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the documents they reference and any separately accepted paid plan terms, are the entire agreement about the Service and replace any prior understanding on the same subject.
You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent, except where the law allows it. We may transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization or sale of the relevant business, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, except for obligations that cannot legally be excused.
These Terms are available in English and Spanish. If the versions differ, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.
