This Risk Disclosure explains the main risks of trading and of relying on trading analytics. Read it together with our Terms of Service.
1. Trading involves substantial risk
Trading foreign exchange, contracts for difference (CFDs), futures, options, digital assets and other leveraged or derivative products carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose all of your capital and, with some products and brokers, more than your initial deposit. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
2. Leverage
Leverage lets you control a large position with a small deposit. It magnifies losses as much as gains, and a small market move against you can wipe out your account or trigger a margin call or stop out by your broker.
3. Expert Advisors and automated trading
Expert Advisors and other automated strategies carry their own risks. They can contain software errors, behave unexpectedly when market conditions change, be overfitted to past data, or stop working because of connectivity problems, terminal or server outages, or changes made by your broker. Spreads, slippage, commissions, swaps and execution quality can differ from what a strategy was designed or tested for.
4. Past performance
Past performance does not guarantee future results. The results RabbitQuant shows describe what your strategies did in the past, not what they will do. A strategy that was profitable before can lose money in the future. Example figures shown on our website are illustrative demo data, not real results.
5. What RabbitQuant is and is not
RabbitQuant is an analytics tool. It connects with your investor password, which gives view only access, and it does not place, modify or close trades. We never ask for your master password. RabbitQuant does not provide investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing it shows is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any instrument or to run any strategy.
6. Data limitations
The figures RabbitQuant shows depend on data from your broker and on how trades are attributed to strategies. They may be delayed, incomplete or differ from your broker’s official statements. Always check important figures against your broker’s records before acting on them.
7. Your responsibility
You alone are responsible for your trading and risk management decisions. Before trading, make sure you understand the products and risks involved and, if needed, seek independent advice from a qualified professional.
8. Language
This disclosure is available in English and Spanish. If the versions differ, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.
